What to visit in Lugano General information about Lugano A very popular tourist destination, Lugano has also established itself worldwide as a leading international banking center, in third place in Switzerland in terms of turnover after Zurich and Geneva. It is the most populous Italian-Language city outside of Italy. Lugano develops to the north of the lake of the same name and is located on the 46th parallel north. It is located at the foot of the Lugano Prealps. Lugano is characterized by a continental climate influenced by Alpine currents, with very variable weather depending on the season. Winters are harsh but mitigated by the lake in the plain districts, while summers have periods of dry heat and others of muggy weather.

As you sip a glass of local organic wine, our chefs will introduce themselves and give you a brief overview of the delicious three-course meal you’ll prepare together. The hands-on cooking experience is designed to be both fun and educational, as you work with fresh, local ingredients to create traditional Italian dishes. Around 8:30 pm, you will sit down to enjoy the meal you have prepared, dining outside in the garden overlooking Lake Lugano. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, allowing you to enjoy and savor the evening for as long as you wish. We look forward to sharing this special experience with you!
